why we give
Why We Give
Giving is something that we do in faith and obedience to Jesus Christ.
In Luke 6:38, Jesus says,
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
We give because we have freely received.
We give to see God do what only He can through us.
We give in order to experience the fulfillment that comes at the hand of accomplishing our God-ordained role in His advancing Kingdom.
And when we give, we do so with hearts of joy and gratitude.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 says,
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
We give of our time, we give of our talents, and we give our treasure.
We are grateful for your gift as a token of your partnership with us and what God has called us to.
Let's Stay Connected
